China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA) was founded in 1989. It is an industrial organization in the field of plastics processing industry in China, it is a nationwide and non-profit social organization with the qualification of legal person. CPPIA is voluntarily composed of enterprises, institutions, social groups, scientific research institutes, universities and colleges and individuals engaging in the plastics processing industry and related industry. And it is guided and supervised by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council and China National Light Industry Council.

Objectives of CPPIA:Abiding by the constitutions, laws and regulations; Implementing relevant state guidelines and policies; Respecting social morality; Reflecting requirements of the industry; Safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the members; Guiding and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of plastics processing industry; Providing good services for the members, whole industry and government.

Basic Functions:Reflecting the demands of the industry; Studying the industrial development trends; Assisting to formulate the industrial development programs; Coordinating the relations inside and outside the industry; Representing the interest of members; Presenting industry opinions and suggestions to the government; Organizing exchanges and training; Participating in quality management and supervision; Providing technical consultation; Implementing industrial guidance and promoting industrial development as well as safeguarding the security of the industry.

Membership:There are more than 3000 membership units in CPPIA.
